How to define advanced folder insert row settings
A) Insert Row settings allows you to define the action that is taken up selecting the Insert Row button from the folder poppup context menu. The Standard setting and default action is for one blank row to be inserted into the selected folder.
How to define advanced folder insert row SQL settings
  • A) Enter the JDBC Server Driver and Connection URL. Refer to your JDBC driver documentation for the Driver and Connection URL syntax. You can connect up to 5 different JDBC drivers by placing the driver .jar file you obtained from the driver manufacturer in the JDBC folder located within the IntelliCabinet installation location, the installation location can be found in your Session Log from the Help menu. The driver file name must be renamed to jdbc1.jar jdbc2.jar jdbc3.jar jdbc4.jar or jdbc5.jar to be recognized.
  • B) The SQL Statement tab is where you will enter the SQL INSERT statement for creating the desired row data. The folder will refresh its row content upon executing the SQL Statement. Assuming the folder is of the Data Query type and the query statement is setup to coincide with your inserted data, the new rows would be visible within the active folder.

  • A) Enter the URL path to the web service that will perform actions when the Insert Row button is selected. The folder will refresh its data upon completion.
