Drawer Popup Context Menu

Understanding the Drawer popup context menu

With the Drawer popup context menu you can perform the following tasks
  • 1) Select New Folder when you want to add a new folder to the selected drawer.
  • 2) Select Rename to change the name of the selected drawer. This function can also be accessed by double clicking the selected drawer. To dynamically change the name of the cabinet drawer from the cabinets property setting enter the following in the drawer name field $CAB_PROP[Any Property Name]$DEFAULT[Any Default Name] The displayed drawer name will lookup the defined property name within the brackets, Any Property Name in this example, within the defined cabinet property's attributes list and display the value assigned for that property element. The $DEFAULT variable is used to define the displayed drawer name when the $CAB_PROP name attribute is not assigned, Any Default Name in this example.
  • 3) Select Cut when you want to cut the selected drawer.
  • 4) Select Copy when you want to copy the selected drawer.
  • 5) Select Remove when you want to remove/delete the selected drawer.
  • 6) Select Folder Placement when you want to change the display of the folders within the selected drawer. You can position folders on the top, left, bottom, or right side of the application.
  • 7) Select Position when you want to move/change the position of the drawers within the selected drawers owning cabinet.
  • 8) Select Paste Folder when you want to paste a copied or cut folder from another drawer.
  • 9) Select Advanced when you want to specify read/write access permissions. Warning! If you specify access settings to the advanced settings dialog that results in no access you will only be able to access the advanced settings dialog based on matching the specified settings. It is strongly recommended to test this functionality prior to actual usage. * This feature is only visible on Professional or above versions.
  • 10) Select Icon when you want to specify the icon that will be displayed for the selected drawer. To dynamically set the icon of the cabinet drawer from a defined cabinets property setting enter the following in the drawer icon's alternate location field $CAB_PROP[Any Icon Name]$DEFAULT[Any Default Icon] The displayed drawer icon will lookup the defined property name within the brackets, Any Icon Name in this example, within the defined cabinet property's attributes list and display the icon for the value attribute assigned for that property element. The $DEFAULT variable is used to define the displayed drawer icon when the $CAB_PROP name attribute is not assigned, Any Default Icon in this example. The resulting value could be an existing icon or could also be a path to an icon (e.g. C:\MyIcons\icon.png) or a URL (e.g. http://www.myicons.com/icon.png)
  • 11) Select Find when you want to search for folder items in every folder within the selected drawer.
